Health insurance contributions

Many health insurance companies in the Czech Republic offer financial contributions to their clients for salt therapy, also known as visiting a salt cave, as part of their health and prevention support programs. We have prepared an overview of these contributions for you.

As conditions and offers may change throughout the year, we recommend checking the most current information directly on your health insurance provider’s website.

General health insurance company of the Czech Republic (VZP – 111)

VZP offers several contributions that can be used for rehabilitation and spa-like activities, such as visiting a salt cave:

Military health insurance of the Czech Republic (VoZP – 201)

The VoZP offers several programs through which beneficiaries can receive varying amounts of contributions for regeneration, rehabilitation, and spa treatments, including visits to salt caves:

  • 1,000 CZK for all insured persons under the “Healthy insured” program. (Note: Registration for new participants is currently suspended for 2024.) More information >>

Czech industrial health insurance company (ČPZP – 205)

ČPZP contributes to various regeneration activities and therapeutic treatments, including stays in salt caves, as follows:

OZP contributes to salt cave stays as follows:

Škoda employee health insurance company (ZPS – 209)
